Welcome to My Boxy. By accessing, downloading, or using our software/services (the "App"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions set forth below.
1. Product Positioning and Purpose of Use
- Nature of the Tool: My Boxy is a versatile graphic editing utility that provides automated pixel processing features, including: object removal, surface cleanup, and image restoration (Inpainting).
- Technological Neutrality: The App is designed and provided as a strictly neutral creative assistant. We do not design the App to circumvent, disable, or defeat any technological measures protecting copyrights, nor do we encourage or endorse the use of the App to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
2. End-User Responsibilities
By using the App, users strictly agree to comply with the following regulations:
- Image Usage Rights: Users bear sole and full legal responsibility for any images inputted into the App. Users represent and warrant that they only process images for which they hold legal ownership, possess a valid commercial/non-commercial license, or images that reside in the Public Domain.
- Prohibited Conduct: It is strictly prohibited to use the App to create, modify, or distribute content for the purposes of:
- Impersonating identities or creating Deepfake content to commit fraud or misappropriate property.
- Disseminating false information (Fake News), manipulating public opinion, or disrupting public security and order.
- Producing pornographic or violently explicit material, or content that defames, harasses, or offends the honor and dignity of individuals or organizations.
- Intentionally obfuscating or removing the AI-generated origin of a work with the intent to deceive the public.
3. Disclaimer of Liability
- Disclaimer of Content Liability: My Boxy operates solely as a tool providing editing utilities. We do not store, monitor, review, or control the input image content or the output results generated by users. Any civil, criminal, or administrative consequences arising from the use of the generated images remain the sole liability of the user.
- Disclaimer of Copyright and Metadata Liability: The inherent nature of pixel reconstruction algorithms may result in the alteration, distortion, or removal of the image's original state, including visible watermarks and embedded metadata (e.g., the C2PA standard). We shall not be held liable for any copyright disputes or breaches of Terms of Service (ToS) between users and third-party image/AI platforms resulting from this editing process.
- "As-Is" Basis: The App is provided on an "As-Is" and "As-Available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, that the editing results will be flawless, error-free, or meet all specific requirements or expectations of the user.
4. Violation Handling and Service Termination
- We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse service, suspend, or permanently terminate access for any account/user found in violation of these terms, without prior notice or liability for compensation.
- Upon receiving a valid request from competent regulatory authorities or a formal copyright infringement notice (e.g., DMCA Takedown Notice), we will comply with applicable laws, cooperate in providing necessary information, and take appropriate actions to prevent further violations.
5. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to update, modify, or amend these Terms and Disclaimer at any time to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Any changes will be publicly posted on our website or within the App. Your continued use of the App following the effective date of such changes constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated terms.
